‘ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE’ DEAD AMAZING

Smugglers Adventure was transformed into a horrifying scene from the ‘Walking Dead’ as part of its Halloween celebrations for a second year running.
The West Hill attraction hosted a terrifying ‘Zombie Apocalypse Halloween Fright Night’ event with staff and volunteers taking on the role of a marauding horde of the undead let loose in the cave system.
Plucky guests were then led into the centre of the caves and challenged to navigate their way through the near-dark passages and tunnels to get back to the entrance and avoid joining the zombie ranks.
“We hosted this event last year and had fantastic feedback so we were confident it would prove popular again this year and can confirm it certainly was,” said Smugglers Adventure’s Leanna Lawson.
“We were once again a little taken a back by how realistic and frightening it really was, the staff and volunteers who took on the roles of zombies were absolutely amazing and I would like to thank them all for their enthusiasm and hard work.” she added.
The Zombie Apocalypse was one of the final events to take place at Smugglers Adventure this year. It closed for the season on Saturday, November 4th and will re-open for February half term next year.
